CBC Unplugged

Monthly · last Saturday

Once a month the brewery slows down and opens up. Each edition puts a special variant on tap, often unfiltered and unpasteurised versions of the range: Harvest Lager, West Coast IPA and Amber Weiss the way they taste straight from the tank. Live music, German-style food, and the beer at its source.

Spice Route Oktoberfest

CBC's own Oktoberfest, held at the CBC brewery at Spice Route, Paarl. A traditional celebration: CBC beers, German food, and a festive day on the farm. Your ticket has historically included a CBC-branded beer mug to drink from and take home.

Capital Craft Beer Festival

Annual · June · Saturday 20 June 2026 · 10:00-18:30

One of South Africa's biggest craft beer festivals, at the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens: more than forty breweries, over two hundred beers, live music, gourmet food, and a kids' area. CBC joins as a participating brewery. If you're upcountry, this is the chance to drink CBC far from the Cape.

Fools & Fans Beer Festival

Annual · April · two days · 10-11 April 2026

South Africa's cult country beer festival, in Greyton in the Overberg, at the Moravian Hall and around the village. Friday belongs to the homebrewers and a national interclub competition; Saturday brings the commercial brewers, a fun run, live music and street food. CBC joins on the Saturday as a participating brewery.
