The Cape Brewing Co brewery at Spice Route Farm, a white Cape Dutch gable under old oak trees in late golden light

The Brewery

On the slopes of Paarl mountain, at Spice Route Farm, looking out over the Boland.

The one no one else can buy.

Every CBC beer is brewed with crystal clear Paarl mountain spring water, from the mountain the brewery stands on. The purity law allows four ingredients. Three of them anyone can order. This one, no one else can.

Wolfgang began as an apprentice brewer in Bavaria and has brewed for more than thirty years across three continents. He opened Paulaner's craft breweries in Shanghai, Manila and Singapore, then ran the Paulaner Brauhaus at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront. At CBC he is the founding brewmaster, the first the company has ever had.
